Account deletion

Delete your Neighbori account

Neighbori users can request deletion of their account and associated data at any time.

How to request deletion

  1. Open the Neighbori app.
  2. Go to your profile, open Settings, and tap Delete account.
  3. Follow the confirmation steps shown in the app.

If you cannot access the app, email contact@neighbori.com from the email address on your Neighbori account and include "Delete my Neighbori account" in the subject line.

Data deleted

When your account is deleted, Neighbori deletes or permanently de-identifies account data associated with your profile, including:

  • Account and profile information, including name, email, username, bio, profile photo, and preferences.
  • Private contact information, saved items, cart contents, follows, push tokens, and notifications.
  • Listings, listing photos or videos, reviews you wrote where deletion is technically feasible, and in-app message bodies.
  • Identity-verification photos, if you submitted them.

Data we may retain

Some information may be retained when needed for legitimate business, safety, or legal reasons, including:

  • Records required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or enforcement of our Terms.
  • Information needed to investigate abuse, safety reports, chargebacks, or prohibited activity.
  • Limited identifiers for accounts removed for safety reasons, used to prevent repeated abuse.
  • Aggregated or de-identified data that no longer identifies you.

Backups are rotated and overwritten on a regular schedule. Data retained for legal, security, or dispute purposes is kept only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes or as required by law.
